Ah, well. This bit is a work in progress.

I was born by the sea and grew up in an orange grove, but my heart as always belonged to the ancient green mountains where I made my home, deep forests spotted with rhododendrons, granite boulders big as houses, cold cold rivers lined with moss. The beauty and wonder and rhythm of the natural world has always entranced me, and for as long as I can remember I have collected bones and stones and other natural relics, always taken with love and respect.

I do not use any animal products that are the result of intentional human cruelty. Most of my bones are the leftovers of predators or casualties of accidental human contact, sourced from roadsides and wild places. I live in an area dense with farmers and hippies and rural folk, and occasionally I will be gifted bones from local farmsteads or subsistence hunters, where I know the animals were treated with respect and care. I do NOT support fur farming or trophy hunting, and refuse to use bones from such inhumane and unethical sources.
